Proud to raise our staff’s salaries

Our clinical-based teams at Fresenius Medical Care had an extra spring in their step on 1st July as we awarded a pay increase to reflect and reward the consistent efforts and dedication to their roles. This comes as glad news for many with the purse-pinch still happening across the UK due to the national cost-of-living increases.

As of the next pay cheque, our 2023 pay review will increase pay across our clinical-based staff by 5% - 12%. What’s more, the salary increase will apply to base pay, employer pension contributions, overtime rates, and average holiday pay. With the summer holidays coming up, this is welcome news and will hopefully allow our clinical colleagues to enjoy a little extra treat or outing in the coming months.

So far, staff reactions have been encouraging to see, with Melva Mendez, a Staff Nurse at our Tipton clinic saying, “Thank you so much for the good news and for taking care of your employees. This will serve as an inspiration for us to strive harder for the betterment of the company”.

In addition, Tom Monaghan, a Dialysis Assistant at Hull also shared his excitement saying, “Fantastic news, thank you!”

Led by a dedicated team of clinical and technological experts, we are proud to be world leaders in the provision of products and services for people with life-threatening kidney conditions. Not only do we manufacture the technology and equipment to assist with dialysis, but we also have clinics and medical staff within the group to administer care and educate patients on kidney health and wellness.

We are proud of our revised clinical-based staff pay scales and benefits packages, including no Sunday or night shift working, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day off, and sponsorship for training and career development.  For example, we consider nurses from all backgrounds as we offer an accredited 8-week fundamental dialysis training programme. In addition, some posts are eligible for a Welcome Bonus of £2,500.

With such a comprehensive offering and level of expertise at Fresenius Medical Care, it’s easy to see why we are rated the primary provider in this sector. Over the years, we have constantly challenged ourselves and the wider medical industry, to deliver the best possible care for patients, whilst also providing a rewarding, career-driven working environment for our staff. We are always looking at new ways to approach renal care, which benefits our patients and our team’s career development.

From our esteemed staff to newcomers, whatever experience people bring to Fresenius Medical Care, we promise to reward and develop staff in their roles who continue to show the right attitude and aptitude. Click here to see available careers opportunities with us.
