You will be informed what Personal Data is required and what Personal Data is optional. When you are asked to provide Personal Data, you may decline. But if you choose not to provide data that is necessary to for us to provide requested services, we may not be able to provide you those services.

If you submit any Personal Data relating to another individual to us, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.f

USE BY MINORS

    • To involve you in the context of surveys relating to our products or services or those of a Fresenius Medical Care affiliate or business partner.
    • To collaborate with you on medical events, publications, or advisory meetings. o To seek your views on products and services promoted by us or a Fresenius Medicare Affiliate or business partner for development and improvement purposes.
    • To allow you to apply to open positions and to review your application and assess your job skills which will include using the data as follows:
    • Application review: Assessing your skills, qualifications and interests against our career opportunities; verifying your information and carrying out reference checks and/or conducting background checks (where applicable / permitted by law ) if you are offered a job; proactively conducting research about your educational and professional background and skills and contacting you if we think you would be suitable for a role with us.
    • Communication: Communications with you about the recruitment process and/or your application(s), including, in appropriate cases, informing you of other potential career opportunities.
    • Compliance with applicable laws and practices:  record-keeping and reporting obligations, conducting audits, compliance with government inspections and other requests from government or other public authorities, responding to legal process such as subpoenas, pursuing legal rights and remedies, defending litigation and managing any internal complaints or claims, conducting investigations and complying with internal policies and procedures, performing sanctioned party lists screening and other background checks and screenings as may be required for a particular role by applicable laws and practice, legislation and/or by legitimate business interest.
    • We will also use your information to protect the rights and property of, our users, applicants, candidates, employees or the public as required or permitted by law.
    • If you are offered and accept employment with Fresenius Medical Care, the information collected during the application and recruitment process will become part of your employment record.
  • Allow you to submit holiday coordination requests as part of our contractual relationship with you.
  • Allow you to participate in special programs, activities, events, or promotions as part of our contractual relationship with you or where we have a legitimate interest.
  • Operate our business to comply with our legal obligations and to meet our legitimate interests in maintaining our business. This includes:
